India is the home of about 31 million (about 3 crore) orphans. It is approximately one fifth part of total orphans of the world. According to a survey only about 2-3% orphan children are adopted and rest of all, have to live their life in struggles, sometimes they are not treated well in orphanages. In some extreme cases, it is found that these poor children are abused physically and sexually by their caretakers. Thousands of children are abandon every year, according to a report, 11 million abandoned children in india, were mostly girls. As we all know, girls are not safe in any place, even some illegal organizations drag these innocent girls into brothal houses. They are also prone to get sexually abused by their surrounding people.

Orphanages can’t facilitate the increasing number of orphan children, That’s why, orphan children are being deprived of proper education, nutrition and care. Orphan children are so unfortunate in the matter of love, affection and personal care.

Approximately 27 million, people are suffering from some kind of infertility issue that’s why they are not able to become biological parents. These people are desperately wasting lot’s of money, efforts and time in IVF and surrogacy centers, just for that one hope to become parents, even if they have simple option of adoption. They must think smartly and prefer adoption over any kind of artificial, expensive and painful process. Our country’s population is already over 135 crore. In this highly populated nation, we should not produce more children,we must seek the option of adoption! By doing this, we could solve multiple issue from personal to social.

If all those couples, who couldn’t be biological parents, start adopting orphan children, in just few years, no parent will be deprived of child and no child will be deprived of parental love. India will not be called the home of millions of poor, destitute and orphans anymore. Let’s make our nation an ideal place for new generation. Say no to IVF & surrogacy and yes to adoption.

I totally agree with adoption! It’s a great course to take especially when it will bring relief to someone else. I don’t think though that the take should be ‘saying no to IVF and surrogacy’. Honestly, I also used to think so, especially with the money they sink into it. Then I did some reading. Infertility is seemingly easier to solve when you are not in their shoes and wrestling with their constant emotions. And because I know a bit about blinding desire and hope, I definitely understand when someone would love to have a child of their own when it seems possible. Its a worthy goal in itself. And sometimes, even though adoption is possible, not every one is made with the wiring to deeply love a child that’s not theirs. That’s how some children end up going to homes where they are mistreated. It’s hard to find the balance. But I stand for adoption. Hope to be in a position to do so myself. One day.

That’s right 👍👍! I really appreciate those people who adopt children, instead of wasting time and money in IVF centres.
