Many of us have some kind of guilt in lives, even all of us deal with guilt. Guilt destroys our present moments of happiness and joy. It stops us to move on and caught us in prison of past. We always dig our past and sometimes try to correct it subconsciously, but we all know this fact that past and its mistakes can’t be changed, but there is something we can change, our present, so that we can have great future. What is the point to overthink about past? Remember one thing! We don’t have full control over life, we are human, and we make mistake, in order to explore life better. As Albert Einstein said, “anyone who never make mistake, never tried anything new”.

Some common Guilt.

1. Guilt of losing someone.

2. Guilt of cheating on your spouse.

3. Guilt of mistreating someone.

4. Guilt of not fulfilling that passion.

5. Guilt of choosing wrong career.

6. Guilt of having bad habits

7. Guilt of having mental disorder, especially OCD, depression, etc.

8. Guilt of having unwanted negative and intrusive thoughts.

9. Guilt of having done big mistake.

10. Guilt of not getting along with family.

These are some common guilt which we all have, YESS we all have, you are not the only one we have been broken by the feeling of guilt, and all human beings actually go through this feeling. Now the question is, how to deal with guilt? Because there is no point to have guilt, your guilt can’t change the situations but you can.

Some common ways to deal or even completely remove feeling of guilt.

-Don’t stress over past.

– forget mistake and learn lesson from it.

– Don’t be the victim of guilt.

– remember that your present self is not your past self, both are different.

-Don’t degrade or judge yourself by the feeling of guilt.

– Try to forget guilt, even remove this word’s existence from your brain.

– If you feel guilty on your mistakes and doings , it means you are a good person because bad ones never have this  feeling.

– forgive yourself.

– accept yourself and be the good version of you.

– Apologize to those people for whom you are feeling guilty for.
